Another growing season is over now.

My chillis are the only plants that are still fruiting right now.

Being a newbie at this, I'm wondering if it is too late to sow anything outside now?

What do you all plant - if anything - at this time of year?

I have some cabbage and pak choi seeds left....

I planted some Maystar cauliflower today - bought as little plants from the GC a few days ago. I am hoping they'll do what they say on the tin and be out by May so we can plant sweetcorn in the space.

Have also got some more cauli seeds - All the year round - which I will (following instructions on packet) sow in the next few days for overwintering in the greenhouse, ready to be planted out in spring.

Got onion sets and garlic cloves to plant out over the next week or so.
Broad beans (Aquadulce) for overwintering.
Peas (Meteor) ditto.
Sowed some rocket a week or so ago, which is growing slowly, instead of shooting up and bolting like it did in summer...

I've also got some flower seeds to sow, some spring bulbs to plant, and a pot of rhubarb to find space for.

And it's raspberry planting season soon!

November's GYO (p.52) says you can sow All Year Round carrots now, for an early spring crop ... that's if the sluggies don't eat them all over the winter

I've just sown some winter salad leaves, which will be slow and slightly more bitter than summer leaves, but still an awful lot better than a bag of sweaty Tesco salad!

I'll get some garlic in the ground in next couple of weeks. I just wish I had some celeriac!

My greenhouses are fuller now than they have been all summer. Anything I can grow outside during the winter will also be grown inside!

I have a load of onion sets to plant (I want to pickle some when they're done).

Garlic I will have to get hold of and that's it for me this year.

Just got to see the chickens every morning and night over the winter.

Most of the manure has been dug in - just a few more rows to go. That can rot over the winter and early spring and then we can get some stuff in!!!

This year was an experiment but next year we're going for gold (tomatoes)!
