  • What to do about frost damage?

    Hello!
Well, Sunday night/Mon morning we got hit by some frost. Didn't know it was coming and thus did not get cover on the lottie. We covered up last night tho.

Some leaf damage on the spuds (leaves turned black) but not too bad. Other plots got hit far worse. x1 Courgette took a beating and sweetcorn looks grumpy.

    Q. What should you do to frost damaged leaves etc? For example, on the spuds, should you removed the damaged black leaves to prevent rot spreading through the stems and into the tuber, or will they just fall off with no lasting impact on the plant?
Is there a standard approach to reacting to frost damaged leaves/stems where the plant will clearly survive? I'm guesing it'll be a species specific approach?

    Cheers everyone.
