  • Well worth a look

This program is worth a look. It talks about how oil is used in the production of food, then goes on to talk about permaculture.

If anyone can get to Malmesbury next Saturday there is a Green Roadshow at the Town Hall. Amongs those represented there will be someone from a group looking at making Malmesbury a Transition Town.

Thanks, Womble. It looks interesting and I'll watch it when I have a little more time and I can get these dratted speakers working.

Thanks for the link, Womble - I watched it last night. Very interesting and inspiring - though I'm not sure that permaculture would be feasible on my tiny plot! Still, it's made me even more determined to pursue Charles Dowdings' no-dig method and nurture my soil, and to plant lots of flowering herbs to attract insects
