  • Torpedo experiment

I noticed when patrolling the allotment tuther day an 8" pot of what were red torpedo onions I'd sown last year and didn't get round to planting out. The pot is burried up to its neck in the soil and I now have miniature torpedo's looking very healthy.
On normal onions I now this is how sets are produced so ............you can guess the rest!
Once I get round to it, I'll plant them out as sets and see how I get on!
My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order
to present to him vegetables and all beautiful flowers.- Offerings of Thutmose III to Amon-Ra (1500 BCE)
