Hi all, I forgot i had some main crop potatoes stored away waiting to be planted! On the packet it says plant in April!! Do you think they would come to anything if i planted them 2moro??!

James, I don't know where you are in the country but maincrop potatoes need 22 frost free weeks.. Do you have that left ? Do the sums and work it out - or take the gamble. It might just work.

hi alice, i live in buckinghamshire near london, so that would take me in the second weekish into november so i think i'll give it a go, Got nothing else to put in that peice of ground!!

is it still possible to buy maincrop seedlings? maincrops are the ones i like best but i havent got any planted.. i've got plenty of earlies, i'm not overkeen on them to be honest thoughComment
