  • Is it too late to plant sweetcorn??

As per the thread title, is it now too late to plant sweetcorn...I appeared to forget to sow it altogether!! Would be started in modules then planted out...

It's not too late, I've done it at the start of June before and it was OK. Better off started outside now I would think, under cloches if you have them, or individual bottley things.

Please ignore everything I say, I make it up as I go along, not only do I generally not believe what I write, I never remember it either.

OK I just went downstairs, and forgot that my root trainers currently have some beans in them!

Will toilet roll insides do? If so, how does it work? How many per roll?

I sowed some at the weekend, on the spur of the moment. Don't normally grow it, as the badgers nab it time after time on our plots!

My seed packet said can sow outdoors during May.
