| Dear Grapes, I found this web ( a german website) which the owner dedicate him self to mainly tomatoes, here are his collections : Index of /rkraft/Tomatenfotos/ I have been looking at his tomatoes collections with great interest but sadly has no idea how they taste, how big they grow plus whether or not for outdoor growing (I don't have a green house). Would you like to share your tomatoes growing experience ? I am currently setting my eyes on White Oxheart .Enjoy and have fun .

Who the lover? ![]() He he he - I think you meant 'to tomato lovers' QUOTE]Mind you I type with 6 fingers (never been good with typing) and never been able to catch up with my oral and due to that I tend to missed a letter or even worse some letters...LOL. I did try to edit it but failed !!! Perhaps I should get a TOEFL first before joining the vine ?So what are your toms ?

| I'm not sure which question rocketron, if you mean 'what all of them?' then I'm afraid that there's more tom varieties still in their packets! ![]()

I've had same issue with Eva Purple Ball - very low germination although 4 came through from 10 seeds (eventually). Mind you, last years plant only produced three or four fruit so it wasn't a great variety to grow anyway ... except, the fruit LOOKED gorgeous - really pretty colour!

| Thanks T-Lady, I just re-checked and one has germinated. I hope this year is better than last nearly all our outside toms were total failures and one or two produced very little. ![]()

| You must have a huge greenhouse/polytunnel, SBP or do you grow some outdoors ? Do you just grow on one plant of each ? I would love to grow such a wide variety of toms but where would I put the cukes, peppers and aubergines not to mention the chillis in my 8 x 6 greenhouse (rhetorical question) ? |

| Yeah woofster, have worked out we have room outside for a bed of toms - 16 of 'em, 3 more in the greenhouse (along with the aubs/peppers/chillis/cuke/melon?). Will be growing one of most maybe two of some, still trying to find toms that have to be grown. Here's our outdoor toms from 2 years ago - think we grew them a bit too close tbh. ![]() ![]() Growing principe borghese (aka the Borg), zapotec pleated and sub-artic plenty (in a pot) in the greenhouse. Hoping that as sub-artic is early, it'll be ultra early in the g/h. Have not tried zapotec before but think its late/long season tom which might need the extra heat from the g/h and am hoping that the Borg produces lots as I want to sun/oven dry some toms again and its supposed to be good for that. ![]()
