Tomato plants strange leaves

They look sunburnt to me, move them out of direct sunlight, or use fleece. Did you water the over the leaves at all..??

It will grow out, but might set them back a little.

I think there's a chance they've been frosted, they can go a bit 'papery' after being too cold. Whereabouts are you graybag? Up here in Yorkshire it won't be safe to have tomatoes outside overnight for a few weeks yet. Try covering them with fleece or polythene overnight if the temperature is going to be below 5c

Would agree with the sunburn, although they may have been outside at the GC they may not have been in direct sunlight. It has been really sunny here for several days and as the top of my head tells me it has been hot enough to burn then plants that have not been acclimatised could suffer as well. They should survive but just give them a bit of shade.

I've moved them so they don't get too much sun while it's going to be hot, and covered them in polythene (bags!) tonight as the temp will be down to 4.
