  • Is this a tomato disease, should I be worried?

Noticed this on one of my plants. The leaves are developing light green patches in areas. A disease or something less worrying?

Also noticed small green bumpy spots on one of my potato plants as well, can't take a picture as it seems it doesn't want to focus on any leaves! These anything deadly as well?

Could be a nutrient deficiency as I suspect you have grown them on a windowsill in 3" pots.

They got transplanted into the pots just over a week ago. Surely they haven't used up all the nutrients in the pot already?

Are they pot bound? Sorry, what I mean is are the roots showing through the bottom of the pot? The plants can get very leggy on windowsills and don't produce much leaf.

I doubled their pot size from the previous one, they weren't even pot bound to that one. It doesn't seem very bad (for now XD) as the plant is quite big and healthy looking, apart from the blobs that is!

They get kept in a east facing window sil, in good heat but quite a low level of ventilation. Could this have any factors to it?

From looking around it seems to always come back to having a magnesium deficiency. What's the best way to boost magnesium in a plant grown in a pot?

Try some Tomorite feed. But I think that windowsill toms always look thin and leggy, they need a lot of light so they should be outside in full sun. Do you have a greenhouse?

Epsom Salts is a way of fixing it, just sprinkle a pinch on top and water it in. Magnesium deficiency is common in tomatoes and as mentioned above, you can get a good quality tomato feed with those extra minerals. Mineral deficiency can also be a sign of other things, such as too much feed or even letting the top of the soil dry out.

Looks like the start of magnesium deficiency As above a spray of Epsom Salts should help. But a standard feed like Tomorite could make the situation worse.
