  • This time of year??

I have just been offered a little bit of extra space in a friends garden that they want turning into a area.

Any ideas of what i can plant at this time of year with a view to harvesting before xmas?

Was going to try lettuce, radish, spuds (not sure on vareity) and maybe carrot

    any other ideas?

Spinach is always handy as salad leaves or lightly steamed or maybe added to soups and curries.

If you want a wider selection, you could consider pre-gronw plants.

Thanks everyone, this list should keep me going.

Going to definitely try courgettes and the spinach to start and see what space if left.

Will let you know how things get on
