  • Tie or twizzle?

I've always grown the greenhouse toms by winding toms around string - but this year I'm going for canes.

So would you twizzle toms around these or tie to canes with string?

The garden centre certainly saw you coming ! Nothing wrong with good old string or wire. Cheers, Tony.

at least if she gets gale force 10 winds inside her greenhouse, the tomato plants will still be standing (maybe not the greenhouse though)

I used string to tie mine to canes last year.

Soft garden twine tied so as to leave room for stem growth.
