| PFA aren't heavy croppers anyway and are a late maincrop. Do as flum says and give them time to mature. It often depends on how many sprouting eyes there were on the seed spud and sometimes PFA has a tendency to produce a few large tubers rather than a lot of smaller ones!

| You've missed the spud boat. They should've been planted in March. Better luck next year, and get your earlies/main crops sorted out, so you know what to expect and when. ![]() BTW. I am still digging my Pink Fir Apples up in December (we don't get a frost until Feb round here)

| Anya is a relation of Pink Fir Apple - similar shape and a lovely flavour, but if you plant this in March you could be eating it now (I am - and very nice too!)

| I'm going to plant a few this weekend but they are left from my original seed potatoes - I don't think it's worth paying the extortionate prices for the "second croppers" which often don't make it. |
