| Hello, A few of my sweetcorn stalk tops have blown off with the recent high winds; most of these have developed cobs. Seems a shame to dig them up, I was wondering if the cobs continue to grow without the tops. Has anybody else had any success growing sweetcorn without the tops?!! |

| They might well continue to grow - but unless some have the tops and can pollenate the rest - you won't get any corn. When the corn grows out of the sides, the silks all need to have pollen on them in order to get a full cob.
