  • Summer Squash question

I have a bed full of summer squashes and cucumbers, which I might have been a bit over zealous with in that they are quite close together. They are growing great but with all these massive leaves it is rather crowded. The question is would I be able to trim some of the leaves without harming my crop of summer squashes and the like.

I wouldnt....I use squash to suppress weeds....they block everything out....I would let them get on with it.

I'm with NOG on this, just let them be unless they start to invade or shade another crop, only then trim them off, less weeding is always a good thing
