I have a bed full of summer squashes and cucumbers, which I might have been a bit over zealous with in that they are quite close together. They are growing great but with all these massive leaves it is rather crowded. The question is would I be able to trim some of the leaves without harming my crop of summer squashes and the like.

I wouldnt....I use squash to suppress weeds....they block everything out....I would let them get on with it.My phone has more Processing power than the Computers NASA used to fake the Moon Landings -
I'm with NOG on this, just let them be unless they start to invade or shade another crop, only then trim them off, less weeding is always a good thingKernow rag nevra
