Default squash and cucumber mosaic virus

I tried growing squash red currie this year (its my first year) and they caught the cucumber mosaic virus as did 2 of the large pumpkin plants my daughter planted, don't know the variety but they were the kiddy seed you can buy in the yellow packets. strangely the f1 variety of courgette I planted were ok. I really love to eat squash and was gutted that they have failed. Can anyone recommend a variety which have some resistance to CMV but are still tasty too as I am only growing to eat them ?

Sorry Yorkshirelass, I don't know of any specific disease resistant ones but lots of people on the grapevine seem to have had success with Butternut squash so perhaps that's worth a try. I'm growing some at the moment but unfortunately haven't got any fruits set yet.
