  • silly pumpkin question

    hi all
    a silly question i suppose but i was wondering can you grow pumpkins in containers? my veg plot is not really big enough to have it taken over by pumpkins but i would love to grow them. thanks

    They take up a lot of room but I've read here (I think) about people growing them in containers - I believe some people have used supports or trellises to train them.

    Some more knowledgeable grapes will be on here soon I guess.

      When we had no room for big pumpkins/squash, I trained Jack-Be-Little and Jaspar mini pumpkins around a bamboo arch stuck into a large pot. Looked really nice.
