| I have over wintering garlic planted and it was coming on nicely until until on the 15/05/08 the 30 plantes all went to seed. Before that date we had very hot weather fore about 8 days 25c and now the temp is down to 14c. Any one have any idea if it was just the weather or something else |

| Same here; I just use them first. Just take the seed head off as soon as I see it. Popit on the carrot bed to determine carrot fly.

| Both garlic and shallots have bolted. Garlic should be alright but shallots won't keep. Garlic is doing really well and bulbs are starting to fill out will just need to make sure they are well dry before plaiting. Ian |
