My shallots are doing fine but there is a lot of grass growing between them ,
if I try to remove the grass the shallote become loose .
my question is will the grass stop the growth.

    Many thanks

Onions & shallots hate competition from weeds.
If you pull up the grass, water the ground afterwards - it will help settle the shallots back in.

And also water the area before weeding which should allow the weeds to come out easier!
