  • shall I pick?

One of my three courgette plants actually has fruit, whoop whoop. Being a first time grower my biggest is now 12-13cm with two others behind but growing. Should I pick now allow the plant to concentrate on others? Very silly question sorry....

Congratulations!! I'd pick it and let the others grow on.

The more you pick the more new ones you get

I often pick them when they are really small and eat them there and then! There are usually loads waiting in the wings

Like the others have said, pick it & keep picking - I find they taste nicer a bit smaller, & you should get lots more
