A good book for this type of info is Hessayon's Veg & Herb Expert book, it's available in most garden centres and on websites like Amazon, and not very expensive (about �7 or so I think), well worth the investment.

Late sowing in the greenhouse should work for most things, I would think, might be quicker or slower, a lot depends on the weather, and it will also depend on what you are growing. What specifically are you sowing?

I am trying to grow too many veggies at one time I think in 10 " dia pots and rectangular containers about 10 different sorts [ in the greenhouse and out side all in containers ] carrots, cauli, tomatoes [6] radishes,onions,lettuce, cucumber,courgettes,and various types of herbs. and potatoes in two large bins.Now you can see why i need help.

I don't see a problem with any of that. Keep your lettuce outside, it hates heat (somewhere shady is ideal).
Carrots do very well in pots, herbs & spuds too.
