  • Second Cauli Sowing

I have just harvested the last of my 'All Year Round' caulis (10 successful out of 10 plants!).

I have just sown some more seeds in the hope of having some more in time for Christmas.

Is this a realistic prospect or will I have to nurture them and wait until next year for a second crop.

More likely to be early next year methinks!

I planted some out the other week which won't be ready until spring so am guessing that you won't manage any more this year from a sowing now but if you sow now then you'll probably have some earlyish to look forward to in 2011.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I sowed some last week that I will overwinter and harvest in February/March. Congrats on 10/10, hope they were a good size. We had the last of ours for lunch yesterday and it fed 7 of us, so I've had some good sized ones and there's more in the freezer.
