Default Round Aubergines?
Jamie is pickling aubergines and one of them looked round - is that one of the joys of growing your own i.e. weird and wonderful non-uniform shapes? or is it a particular variety?

It was the usual purple colour... just round. He had some of the lighter coloured, but "normal" shape ones too.

I have some aub seeds and on the packet they look round rather that the usual elongated type the seeds are an italian vareriy Proserosa
