Well out of nine pepper plants i fially have some peppers growing! a grand total of 3 peppers on 2 plants wow.
My winter garlic has arrived and was looking foward to planting after my weeks holiday, no such luck!. The car broke down on the one week i had for holiday break so after getting breakdowned home i now cant get to the allotment even if i cycled cause i cant carry any tools on the bike. And i havent got money for repairs to the car if it can be that is.
Oh i forgot the tomatoes got blight as well.
Looking foward to a poor and bleak coming month or so on the buses.
a good put down line to use !

I can't complain ( if you've seen my previous posts)
BUT....the day before we were due to move to France I asked my OH to ask at the local tyre garage how many miles were left on each tyre- one looked like it was nearing it's endlife.
When he did- they said the front 2 were illegal( worn bald on the inside) and the other two had a few hundred miles before they'd need replacing. It's a place we trust, but we were shocked!
4 new tyres later(£400) we were told that the front disc brakes had warped since we'd last taken it in and thats an MOT failure..so another £200 later we were able to set off!

And could we find my OH's cufflinks in the darkness hours of his first day at new job!?(...yep, but twas a bit of a stress seeing as he'd changed his job to a less stressful one!- Ha!!!)

PS...anyone seen they keys to our roof rack???

Ask the government to bail you out, it seems they are doing it for the wealthy bankers.

Aw, Butter Fingers, are you sure the tomatoes aren't just dying off at the end of the season? That's what mine seem to have done, as they aren't protected in the mini-greenhouse anymore. You have three peppers more than me, which is quite a success! I'm going to uproot mine and take it indoors. It still looks like a seedling, but put on a spurt last month!

p.s. the keys to the roof rack are inside the roof rack. Unless it's locked, in which case they're not. :P

Good lord, you all have my sympathy. I have 4 pepper plants that I planted from seed dried from a T**co pepper. I planted them to see if anything would happen as I'm saving the seeds for next year although it was way too late to seriously grow peppers but they're a couple of foot tall and looks like one is trying to produce flowers so I'm waiting to see what happens, not expecting any fruit though but maybe next year
