    red cabbage sown now

    GYO mag says you can sow red cabbage now. Has anyone done this? Do I put it straight in the greenhouse / or cold frame or wait til it germinates in the house? Greenhouse is unheated.

    Also, is there anything else I can sow in the samw way now?

    you could sow late winter, for an early summer crop.
    Which issue of GYO?
    Check the date on the issue - it's probably January is it, not November?

        Yep, I saw that in the December one, too. Can't remember the details, but I was planning to start on the windowsill and harden off in the usual manner (greenhouse, then plant out).
