Hi All, this yearis the 1st we've tried to grow a pumpkin (new england i think the variety was) & all was looking well & we kept the plant watered..... HOWEVER the plant has now died. I think it reached its end naturally when the weather turned colder.. BUT we have a pumpkin still attached to the plant that is slowly turning orange (is kinda 50% orange & 50% green at the mo). My question is do i have to cut it off what is left of the plant before it gets affected by the pant dying (if this happens) or doi leave it out there until it turns orange by itself? Not much sun happening here in wigan anymore either.

    Help much appreciated

It's cold and damp outside now, bring it indoors somewhere warm & sunny if possible

I have one just the same: it's in my gh daytimes, in the kitchen at night

looks like its going to have to come indoors & join the washing in my back bedroom then... definately warm & sunniest place in the house whenever the sun is actually out!
