Default Pumpkin plants taking over

Hi all,

I have a couple of pumpkin plants growing in tubs. They are growing huge and trailing all over my garden. One of them is on it's way through my fence and anywhere it can get to.
So, if I pinch the ends off to stop them growing, will more pumpkins grow on the bits which have already grown? So far i only have one forming.
Obviously if I then loose any chance of pumpkins it is not a good thing.

Thanks very much

Yes blossom, if you pinch out the main growing tip it will branch out with side shoots and you should get pumpkins from these.
