For 2 years running my caulis have grown really well small heads then quickly run to seed what am i doing wrong

What are you doing?
Normally small buttons on a cauli are signs of stress.
Couple of questions:
1)Did you direct sow or transplant?
2)What kind of soil do you have? Did you apply fish blood/bone to the ground before hand?
3)How oftern did you water?

I bought plants from garden centre and planted out not sure what you mean bytype of soil .no I didn't add fish blood & bone to ground it was manured. watered them every couple of days
