Last year was my first allotment show as a plot holder so I felt I should enter the show as there are regularly categories with very few entries. I was extremely surprised and pleased to get in the top 3 for 5 of my entries, including first place for my '1 green cabbage'
I'll definitely be entering again this year. Who knows which crops will do well for me so the entries will depend on what's good at the time.
