          I had a few do that last year - they got stuck in the plait with the rest and kept just fine. I did add them to the plait last so they got used first (I use from top to bottom) just in case.

            I used a few in a potato and bored bean salad for tea today. Beaut. Will prob use em before I actually get around to plaiting them.

              I had one variety do this last year,can't remember which though it was definitely a softneck.
              I grew about 6-7 varieties last year and just kept back the bulbs that grew best to replant.
              best so far is solent wight ,elephant garlic not looking so good this year.
              don't be afraid to innovate and try new things
              remember.........only the dead fish go with the flow
