Default Potatoes from seed?

I planted then neglected some 2nd potatoes. When I did get round to digging them up they had flowered and dropped small green/brown tomato like fruit.

Just for a laugh, I wondered if I could grow potato from seed? How long would it take?

Any sugestions - Jane

yes you can (although the plant won't come true) - use your search button for "potato fruit" and "true potato seed" and things like that, there have been a few threads on this lately and some of us plan to experiment next year.

**Don't eat the potato fruit - it's very poisonous!**
