a lovely time was had down the lottie yesterday, and what a nice supprise i got, last year i set 2 x20ft rows of king edwards,as well as others,
seeing i had enough stored from the main crop i decided to leave them in the ground, then having read other threads of some going rotten and lost crops i decided to go digging, and boy they are lovely, had the very small one's last night, with carrots, sprouting leaves and parsnip, all harvested yesterday,it was a real tonic cooking dinner with just picked veggies,it was a great feeling, have been woken up a bit now,to get cracking,

        Ooooh....How exciting!!!

I've got rows of spuds of various varieties that I didn't get round to lifting... first it was too dry...ground was solid, then too wet...then under feet of snow!

I'd written them off but having read your posts I shall keep quietly optimistic and see what I can dig up!!

        Great stuff!!
