  • possible tumbling tom mutation?

hey, i sowed a bunch of seeds i harvest from my tumbling tom i grew last year, and got a good number of healthy plants from it. However, i remember buying the plant last year, while it was still quite small, and it was a very spiderly looking plant, due to being a favourite for growing in hanging baskets. However, these plants don't look anything like that (and some are quite big now) they are very tall and look like a basic cordon type tomato. Possible cross pollination happened last growing season maybe?

F1s often do not run true. Having said that I do the same with my tumblers for one year only. If I get a tall plant when I plant on I plant it as deep as possible then nip out the top bud to encourage side shoots.
