Default planting in pots

If I was to put a pepper plant it could be any plant, in a ten inch pot as it final place, if I had a pot 30 inch plus pot could I plant 2 to 3 plants. to save space

I put about 3 pepper plants in my B&Q buckets which I think are about 30" across with no problems.

Hi Kittykat, Peppers work well if you put 3 or 4 in a large pot (I grew mine that way last year in the greenhouse). It wouldn't work so well for tomatoes, though. I find they do much better planted one per large pot, or 3 to a growbag. As most of the indoor varieties are cordon type (single stem) you need the spacing, 1. to see what you are doing when de-shooting and 2. They need plenty of air circulating round them.
