Is it possible/viable to get the seeds out of a pepper from the supermarket and plant them?
What are the chances of them producing and how would I go about it?
    Thank you.

They will almost certainly grow but personally I don't see the point as they are a) quite possibly a variety not suited to our shores, b) possibly an F1 so wouldn't come true anyway and c) no way of knowing if they're cross contaminated as peppers (sweet and hot) cross easily with each other and although quite possibly grown as a mono crop, there is no guarantees. Some people like to experiment but as I have a finite space I can give over to peppers I prefer to know what I'm growing.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

      Ok. Thanks for that.
I'm on a tight budget space wise as well so I'll leave it.

I've sown some saved seed this year, it has produced 6 plants. I'll let you know what happens....
