  • Overwintering onion recommendation

I'd like to grow some onions. The seeds I tried earlier in the year didn't work at all, and I'm hoping I'll have more success with sets. I'm very much a beginner and would appreciate some advice on what to grow. I want something that will store well too.

    Thanks

Overwintered onion sets don't store well when harvested. I only grow around 50 and then ~100 of the spring planted sets. The secret is to eat the overwintered ones quickly! I'm growing the Radar variety this year.
