  • Ornamental cabbage

    out of all the brassicas i have sown,these are the only ones,NOT had by the night slimes,{they were 6ft up on a shelf inside,the other stuff including flowers got eaten,so hopefully will fair fine-ish out side}i got them for something different in the flower boarders,am now pricking them out in 3 in pots for now,and wondered,has anyone actualy eaten them,I have googled,on the face of it yes,but are a bit tough and not much taste,hence asking your good selfes,however,i will put sweeties round all but 1 plant,and see what happens,thankyou

      Errrhh, Not me, never grown 'em!! I'd rather have a red cabbage in with my flowers!!

        I grew them in sydney and they looked great, but I didn't eat them.
