  • Organising a seed swap

Contemplating organising a charity seed swap at work (I work in a big enough office that we should get a number of people interested). I figured that we just set up a table (maybe divided into fruit, veg, herbs, flowers and Other?) and everyone brings their spares, takes what they want and leaves a donation. Anyone done this, have any advice?

It's a good idea. I know how you feel. I hate waste, and you can only sow so many tomato plants and still have 50 odd seeds left! I've seed packets with hundreds in, they all come through, so what do you do with the rest of them. I do a bit of guerrilla gardening, with flower seeds and some herbs. I might start flinging cabbage seeds about and see what happens......
You may say I'm a dreamer... But I'm not the only one...

I'm an official nutter - an official 'cropper' of a nutter! I am sooooo pleased to be a cropper! Hurrah!
