    Oooer! What's this on leaves?

    Hi
    Just noticed this on my broad bean (The Sutton) leaves.
    They are cropping wonderfully but this is like a red brown almost powdery deposit.
    Any idea & suggestions of what to do please?

    No broad bean expert but that looks like some kind of mould/mildew. I should wait until one of our broad bean experts comes along.

        Thank you.
        I've had a look at pics of rust & that usually seems to be in small spots.
        What I have is almost like a fine dust on the leaf surface.
        I'm searching google images but just getting the rust spot pics.
        No idea what to search for to be honest...

          I'm pretty certain it's rust. Have you had a lot of rain?

            Looks very much like rust to me as well. Never suffered from it yet but having said that, this will now be the year.

              Thanks Two Sheds, those pics certainly look more like it.
              Now I need to find a cure ???
              Or shall I just pick the beans & grub up the plants?
              We have had tremendous amount of rain in the last 10 days.(The poor holiday makers......)
