    Would it be ok to use old Tom grow bags to top up my spud bags

    Providing there has been no diseased plants in the compost then my answer would be yes.

      As Potty states as they belong to the same family & would be more susecptable (?sp) to disease.

        Providing last years plants didn't get blight that yes reuse.

          Blight can only survive on living plant tissue, ie actual potatoes. If there are no blighted potatoes in that compost, then there's no blight in it either.

          Blighted foliage can be safely composted, because blight doesn't survive the heap unless you put tubers or peelings in there
