    Not bad for my first ever mushrooms

    Got my first ever mushroom crop on my first attempt and i was surprised at just how big they got! 0.0


    Got 4 so far with more to pick later on in the week


    They were all huge, some as big as my hand!

            How did you grow them? I've not tried yet, but have a packet of spawn I'm dying to use.... What's the secret??

                I had some too ^_^ through neglect. I left the kits alone for a fortnight, and ended up with four portobello sized mushrooms and a few diddy ones. Made for a lovely addition to sausage casserole. Had a look the other day and there are a few more babies forming. Are pricey though, for what they are.

                    The biggest thing i followed was keep them damp but not soaking at all times by spraying them with water every day or every 2 days if i forgot =p

                        they are amay-zing! I bought a kit for my brother once! Must see if he still has it Mmmmmmm make room for the mushroooooooms!
