    New programme -Our Food

    just letting you know theres a new programme on tonight called Our Food, its on BBC2 at 8pm, it show us the contrast between commercial farming and local/seasonal foods.

                  I'll have to catch it on iplayer, I just realised the time
                  I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

                    I enjoyed that! Not sure I like Giles Coren spitting all over the field or shoving everything in his mouth to taste it but it was good to see the varieties of crops and the old sailing wherry!

                      Tell me about it, its a pet peeve of mine... spit spit spit all over the lovely crop fied and then the smack smack smack of tasting it.... but saying that people slurping tea or coffee sends me crazy like waving a rag at a bull!!

                            Really enjoyed the programme, especially as my ex-husband was from Norfolk near Cromer so it was interesting to see the places again. I still remember the smell of the sugar beet factory!
                            I didn't like the bloke spitting everywhere or smacking his mouth while tasting either
                            But it was a good programme, I'll be watching the next one - North Wales.
