    My Plan For this Year!

    Reet! I've made my mind up. I've already got loads of 1ft square seed sheets made up so I'm gonna make 12 x 1ft square sheets of each crop I want to grow & divide most of my beds into SFG. From March to August I plan to sow one sheet of each variety every month direct into the beds then from Sept to Feb I'll either sow them in flower buckets or seed trays depending what they are. I appreciate warmth & light are important factors in germination so will have to take that into account during the shorter months. I'm now off to decide what I want to grow & check my current seed sheets to see how many I need to make.................wish me luck..............................what have I let myself in for?

      Sorry BM - but what do you mean by 'seed sheet' ?

                      It's funny you should be talking about seed sheets, BM, as yesterday I found for sale some wrapping paper that grows! It was a pretty flower gift wrap, containing wildflower seeds, so you could wrap a gift for someone and it would be two gifts in one, as after unwrapping the present the recipient could then "grow" the gift wrap too.

                      To be totally useful, you could tie up the gift wrapped present with garden twine as well
