Default Marrow Question

Hi Folks,

I've got marrows growing in orange buckets and the marrow/s are now resting on black matting. The question is should I put something underneath each fruit?

Only if they're likely to rot, which is more likely if they're in contact with damp soil.

Be VERY careful tho, i put mine on slates and got premature snappage on both fruits.

(Broke the stems), ended up with smaller fruits.
