| Hi I need a bit of advice on growing Lollo Rossa. I have just planted 4 plants that I had growing in the Greenhouse. I have covered them with some netting but wondered if they need covering and should I do anything else with them? Thanks Loz

| I never cover mine and they are usually fine. A few bugs when you harvest but you get that in any salad. Just make sure they are watered if it doesn't rain. Incidentally - were they green before they went out into the garden. If so, can you tell me how long it took before they turn red??? Just a little thing I've got going on at the mo...see my other lollo rossa postings!
