  • Layering of raised beds?

Weekend project is building the raised bed.

Now my plan was to fill the bottom layer with the gen clay/crap soil from levelling the garden, top this with some sieved stuff, next a layer of soil improver (to help sort the clay crap out) then compost for topping.

Does this sound OK to you guys, or would you swap any of the layers around?

Thanks. Found the following which makes things a bit clearer for me to understand (being a newbie):

So I think my plan is OK, just needs some paper to help the layering.
