Last years onions

    Last years onions

    I am currently digging over where my onions were last year and this is where my brassicas will be going this year. The problem is some of the onions from last year that weren't harvested are now regrowing. Will these be any good? And annoyingly these will be in the way so what would be best to do? Advice please

    As they are now in their second year, they will probably just want to flower. I'd bite the bullet and get rid of them.

      I'd take 'em up and use them - or chop and freeze them.

            I usually dig them up and transplant them in a gap in the new bed. They probably go to seed, I forget whether they're new or old, I mutter (enjoy a good mutter), snap the flower off, dig it up and eat it then.
