    Keeping pepper plants over winter

    I have read that some of you keep your pepper plants going over winter.

    my question is

    Can i do this in my polytunnel? I certainly cant bring them all inside as i have 22(i think) buckets of them.

    They won't all over-winter, and if they do you won't always get a bigger/better/earlier crop than if you sow fresh.

    Google your varieties to find out the best for over-wintering, and just do a couple.

        None of mine overwintered in an unheated greenhouse! Might try a few on the kitchen windowsill for next year!

          I managed to keep 3 in our porch which has the CH boiler in it. They are looking very healthy and the chocolate hab is covered in flowers!

          I tried jogging, but I couldn't keep the ice in my glass.

            Thanks guys.

            I might bring some of the buckets indoors.....what with a bit of Halloween and then Christmas decorations around the buckets, they should blend in nicely

            I am sorta determined now to give it a go.
