Well I thought I should say hello properly and give you a quick tour of what I am growing! I have limited space in the backgarden so trying to utilize it successfully to get lots of produce! I don't normally grow all that much veg but have always been interested.
So i'm growing-
(Everything below is still in the greenhouse!!)
Sweetcorn (minipop) which all germinated first time in the propergator. It's now looking like a mini forest!!
Tomatoes (Cour di bue, san maranzo, ciliegia and Costoluto Fiorentino) I lost all my tomatoes to blight last year so not very hopeful. I may try to keep one in the conservatory...
Tomatilos which look nothing like their tomato cousins!!
Stripy auberigines
Mini sweet peppers
Chillis- Joe's long and Tepan
Cape gooseberries
Courgettes and squashes (black beauty, di nizza, yellow zuchini, patty pan, yellow scallops) the squash types will be trained upwards the others will be planted out in beds and the black beauty variety will go in big pots.
In the biggish raised beds-
Swedes, Carrots (Chantely (sp) red core), Kale, Leeks, red cabbage, Kohl Rabbi (what is this?!) and Raddicho lettece
Then in a smaller bed we have some red salad onions, mini culiflowers and shallots.
In pots at the moment we have a salad variety and chicory.
We also have a cold frame which has more salad, rocket, chard and pak choi.
Two pots of potatoes (pink fir and vivaldi)
Four pots of garlic.
Strawberries
We also have a russet and cox apple tree, some raspberries, blackcurrents and rhubarb.
We still need to sort out the french beans and runner beans.
I think that is about it!! I look forward to chatting to you all about what you are growing and how it is coming along. Below are a few pics- the tomatoes had been squashed in the propergator- this was just after i had taken them out, they have all stood up now!!
