  • HSL Catalogue/Description Help

I've mislaid my HSL catalogue, can anyone help with the description of a couple of varieties please? I have 'My Girl' tomatoes, which I'm pretty sure are indeterminate plums, but can't remember if they're a large plum, or a 'snack' size. Also, beans Sijlinde and B&B, are they flat pods or pencil pods? I got them for dried beans, but don't remember if you can eat the pods as well

    Thank you

Found my 2012 list - My Girl not listed - not Sjilinde.
B&B CFB White flowered ....large crop of meaty yellow pods over 20cms long. 10 beans per pod. Excellent when used as green beans either hot or for bean salad.

        B&B

meaty yellow pods over 20 cm long, 10 beans per pod. These are of excellent flavour used as green beans, either eaten hot or for bean salad

        Siglinde

very flat, slightly curved pods of white beans. Can be used fresh; HSL member Phillipa Millar steamed the beans for about 10 minutes and described them as having "a pleasant beany flavour, not too strong". They can also be used as a drying bean, and as a fairly early variety are ideal for using this way.
