    How to save beans for next year

    Hi

    I have loads of left over french climbing beans left on the plants that are way past eating and starting to dry.

    I'd like to save the beans and reuse them next year but not sure of the best way to do it.

    How long do I leave on the plant for? - perhaps until the outer shell has completly dried and is cracking open?

    Also whats the best way to store the beans?

    Ideally leave on until dried out completely, however if the weather is against you, uproot the plant and hang in a shed until completely dry.

      but if your shed is inclined to be damp (mine is) then spread them out on newspapers in your kitchen/lounge/whatever
